Surkita Chauhan is a keen baker from Birmingham. As a passion project on the side of her daytime job, she makes homemade cakes for friends, family, and anyone in the West Midlands. She asked me to create a logo for her company and as developments progressed, requested that her signature rainbow cake featured as a central icon. Surkita also wanted to convey a luxurious tone through colour, and a sense of fun with bites out of the letters. As well as the final logo which she rolled out across various items, you can see on this case study some of the initial logos that I presented at the start of our journey.
